Moment Of Truth

I love the Masters tournament and how it can make or break a golfer's game. It is really the ultimate test in the game, in my opinion. Rory Mcilroy was going strong and at the start of the 10th hole on the final day and missed his drive left which started the domino effect on his round. I was hoping he would pull it off. Instead, a virtually unknown South African player, Charl Schwartzel, rose to the occasion with birdies on the final four holes. This painting is an homage to the masters and is the 16th hole, a challenging par 3 that has been a game changer in past masters! This piece is 15 x 30 Oil on canvas and is Titled "Moment of Truth" for inquiries into this or other paintings please contact me at my email address scott@smpalmerart.com

Its The Little Things

It has been said that "its the little things in life" that give us true joy. A moment with a friend, time spent with your children and so on. In my efforts to capture exciting moments in the game of Golf, i had missed the simple ones. A friend commissioned me to paint this piece of he and his son practicing after hours. This is one of my favorite paintings that i have ever done, golf or otherwise, because it tells a story and will have an emotional power to it for a long time to come!

The painting was titled " Daddy, Do i chip or put from here" it was 11 x 14 oil
